Our statutory summary of our accounts from each financial year.
The statement of accounts is the statutory summary of our financial affairs for the financial year and is prepared in accordance with the Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting in the United Kingdom. The purpose of our statement of accounts is to give clear information on our overall finances.
The statements of accounts available to download below have been approved by our Audit and Standards Committee.
Printed copies can be viewed at Jubilee and Hove libraries. You can also order a printed copy from the council for £30 (to cover the cost of printing). If you want to order a printed copy, please email our Financial Accounting Team accountancy@brighton-hove.gov.uk.

Financial year 2021 to 2022
The audit of accounts has not been concluded due to the national issue around infrastructure which has impacted all audits for authorities with material infrastructure assets and has meant that the audit cannot be concluded until a statutory override has been introduced by CIPFA, and also due to ongoing closure of other audit areas.
