Change of vehicle

If you have changed your vehicle, you must retain your parking permit.

Please do not apply for a new permit if you changed your vehicle.

Please email with:

  • permit number, this can be found on the bottom left corner of your permit
  • full name
  • phone number
  • new vehicle details including vehicle registration mark, make, model and colour
  • whether this is your new vehicle or if this is a temporary vehicle, like a courtesy vehicle

If you change your vehicle in the short term or have a courtesy car, we will email you a code, this will last for two weeks. You must write the code on your current permit and put it in the temporary vehicle.

Ideally the code would be written on the permit in pencil, so that you can erase it when your own car is returned to you. If your vehicle is returned to you before the code expires, you do not need to let us know, just erase the code and put the permit back in your car.

If you have a new permanent vehicle and your permit needs changing, we will generate a code that is valid for 14 days from the date it is issued to you.

This code will allow you to park in the permit bays in your parking zone. We will let the traffic wardens know, so you are still covered without the permit in your vehicle for two weeks.

During the 14 days you must return your permit to us so that we can update it.
