Service update: Wednesday 8 April 2020
Blue Badge and Concessionary Travel team
Due to the current situation relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, the council is having to reduce or stop services.
We aim to continue to issue Blue Badges and Bus Passes, however this may not be possible to do as quickly as we would like, as council staff are having to prioritise essential services. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, we hope to return to usual service standards as soon as possible.
If you apply by post there may be a delay in processing your application as we are reducing staff time in the office.
Please apply online when possible or email us a scanned copy of your application.
The customer service counter is closed.
You can still:
- phone 01273 296 270 - if you leave a voicemail, a member of staff will phone you back
- send an email to BlueBadgeParking@brighton-hove.gov.uk
- use the parking section of the website
All blue badges and bus passes that are due to expire in May and June will automatically be renewed and sent to customers.
The Concessionary Travel and Blue Badge Counter service and phone lines close at 3pm on Wednesdays.
You can still drop off or pick up any application forms through the customer service centre.
You must report your stolen Blue Badge to the police by calling 101.
Apply for a replacement Blue Badge
The police will give you a reference number when you report your stolen Blue Badge. Please include this number on the form. We will check the details you provide with the police before a new badge is issued.
