Support for artists, freelancers and arts organisations
The Brighton & Hove Arts & Creative Industries Commission has created an online resource for local artists and creative organisations and businesses.
Culture in our City includes details of funding available to those whose work has been affected by Covid-19, online surgeries to help with practical aspects of financial and contingency planning and an online events directory.
Arts Council England provided an emergency fund of £160 million to support individual artists, freelancers and cultural organisations. The fund complemented the government’s financial help for businesses, supported individuals and organisations. The funding application deadline for National Portfolio Organisations is 19 May.
Take part in the Pathways to Recovery survey
The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Hospitality and Tourism has commissioned a consultation to find out what businesses in this sector will need to help them reopen, recover, and thrive in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis.
The survey questions are designed to discover what support measures businesses would like to see from Government, while also looking at the internal and operational challenges that businesses face when looking to reopen.
For more information or to take part in the survey please go to Pathways to Recovery.
The deadline for submissions is 1 May 2020 at 5pm.
