How to apply
Our Estate Development Budget (EDB) provides money for ideas that can make a positive difference to your neighbourhood.
When you have an idea, you can send it to us. This is called making a bid.
You can make a bid as a resident association or as a group of council residents.
Before you make a bid, you should check the improvements we can fund and the types of bid you can make.
Make a bid
It's important to involve as many of your neighbours as possible when making a bid.
- make sure residents affected by your ideas support them
- agree with residents which ideas should be sent to us
- decide which ideas are the most important if you're sending us more than one
When everyone has agreed, you can make a bid online.
Main bids can be made from 1 June 2019 to 30 September 2019.
Quick bids can be made at any time of the year.

How bids are decided
We'll review your bid, estimate the cost of your project and contact you in we need more information.
Decisions on quick bids will be made at EDB panel meetings on:
- 29 May 2019
- 31 July 2019
- 25 September 2019
- 27 November 2019
- 29 January 2020
- 25 March 2020
Main bids are decided once a year in April. At these meetings, resident representatives vote on which bids should get EDB funding.
