Business Support Officer

Health & Adult Social Care (HASC) are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and highly organised Business Support Officer to work across Public Health, Commissioning & Contracts, Quality, Safegurding & Performance. The successful candidate will provide the first point of contact and information to customers and contracted services as well as support a nominated Assistant Director / Head of Service.

They will also facilitate and take minutes for a variety of meetings and carry out a range of other administrative functions such as processing  invoices, producing correspondence, forms and presentations and updating databases and spreadsheets.

About the role

We’re looking for someone who has worked in a front line Customer Service role or Social Care environment, can communicate sensitively with a range of service users and other partners and has experience of working in a confidential environment.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience of carrying out a wide range of administrative and support tasks, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to prioritise competing task.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
