About the role

Brighton & Hove City Councils ‘In house’ Architecture & Design team are responsible for designing and contract administering a diverse and expanding programme of new build and refurbishment projects for education, residential, health and leisure clients ranging from £500,000 to £11million.

We are looking to recruit a ‘Part 1’ or ‘Part 2’ Architectural ‘year out’ student who would assist the architects and technicians in delivering these projects and at the same time gain practical experience.


The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate strong 2D and 3D CAD skills, a knowledge of Graphics and ‘BIM’ software and have good verbal and written communication skills.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
