Job introduction

We are looking for an Apprentice who would like to join the Blue Badge & Concessionary Travel Team as a Transport Accessibility Officer. You will be working as part of a team within Transport, contributing to and supporting the Blue Badge & Concessionary Travel Team at Hove Town Hall in their customer service functions.

About the role

We are passionate about supporting residents in supporting them with Blue Badge and Concessionary Travel applications. We are looking for someone who would like to play a key administrative role in a team delivering great customer service, support their team, have the ability to prioritise and multi task various duties.

You will  be able to undertake the Business Administration Level 3 qualification and Functional Skills (if required) qualifications. Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths (or evidence of) will need to achieve this level prior to completing training and you may be required to take an English and Maths assessment prior to a formal offer being made.

The Business Course at Level 3 is run by East Sussex College who is responsible for supporting you with your learning and carrying out assessments. The course has core modules to complete and a number of optional units. Your work experience will be linked to the modules and units in your course.

Please note, your application may be shared with the training provider.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
