About the role
Stanford Junior School is looking to appoint an experienced Grade B teaching assistant who is motivated, skilled, calm and understanding.
The role is part time, Monday to Friday, beginning at 12.10pm with lunch duty and finishing at 3.30.
The role will involve working closely with the Inclusion Co-ordinator and teaching staff to support children with Special Educational Needs with a focus on Speech and Language. The successful candidate will be supporting children with Individual Speech and Language Programmes, in class and in groups outside of the classroom, to run Speech and Language interventions. This could include: narrative groups; vocabulary groups; Memory Magic. A working knowledge of strategies to help children with speech and language difficulties alongside experience of running Speech and Language Interventions would be advantageous.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
