About the role
A Teaching Assistant to support students with a variety of special educational needs, disabilities and behaviour needs across curriculum areas and key stages. The role will be primarily lesson based and involve support with small groups and individual students.
The key responsibilities will include:
- communicating effectively and sensitively with students to support their learning, development and independence.
- understanding of individual student needs and strategies to overcome barriers to learning and participation in the classroom.
- working collaboratively with the classroom teacher and other colleagues to ensure that students are safe, happy and make progress

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
