About the role

Applications are invited for a very exciting opportunity which has arisen at Balfour Primary School. We are seeking to appoint a maternity cover for a Teacher who would also act as Year Leader. Year Leaders form part of the Senior Management Team of the school.

We are looking for a teacher with four years' experience who is an enthusiastic, child-centred practitioner whose main passions are to instil a love of learning into our pupils and to develop a learning to learn culture within the classroom and throughout the school.

Visits to the school are very welcome so that you can see we are a thriving and vibrant school at the heart of the Surrenden Campus serving the Preston Park, Fiveways and Hollingbury communities.  Our school is a four form-entry primary school with over 700 pupils on roll. We are an improving school and we are very proud of:

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
