About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Health and Adult Social Care Commissioning Team at Brighton and Hove City Council as Learning Disability Commissioning and Performance Manager.

This role is fundamental in ensuring that services delivered to people with a learning disability are person centred, outcomes focused, inclusive, offer value for money, and promote a sustainable & diverse market. This includes:-

  • Developing learning disability commissioning strategies that supports and develops sector wide services that meet the social care needs across the 14-25 age range
  •  Supporting, monitoring and enforcing sector wide service performance improvement and transparency.
  • Providing good quality contract management and performance information

This role will role will also be required to work closely with colleagues in the Families Children's Learning and Directorate.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
