About the role

We are looking for those who have an enthusiasm for museum collections and a commitment to building their understanding and use. In order to help us develop a programme of documentation and digitisation in particular, the successful candidates will have demonstrable experience of working with collections, and excellent organisational skills.

To improve public access to the collections of Royal Pavilion & Museums through undertaking collections management activities, in consultation with keepers, curators, project officers and other specialist staff.  This will be achieved via a wide range of collections management and collections care activities as outlined in the job description and principal accountabilities.  Supporting access to the collections may also include working on displays and public engagement initiatives.  The museum service employs a large number of volunteers and the post-holder will be expected to help supervise volunteers as required.

Please let us know in your application if you are particularly interested in the digitisation role.
