Job introduction

Brighton & Hove City Council are in the middle of modernising their digital workplace and are looking for a SharePoint Administrator who has a passion for technology and will be key to our success rolling out O365. About the role

This is a great opportunity to be involved from the start of our O365 rollout, building on your existing SharePoint skills whilst playing a key role in building a support team initially focussed on deploying Teams, One Drive, SharePoint as well as content migration and contributing to building solutions using Power Apps and Forms. In this role you’ll need to be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff and act as a subject matter expert on core O365 technologies.

Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, keen to develop themselves and be able to demonstrate their knowledge, experience and interest the following areas:

Essential skills:

  • Administration of SharePoint/ O365 tenants
  • Passion for technology with excellent communication skills
  • Previous exposure to Teams & One Drive
  • Ability to train and develop junior staff

    Not essential but nice to have:

  • Exposure to Flow, Forms and Power Apps, SQL, SharePoint Designer
  • Experience of content migration to SharePoint

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
