Job introduction

Brighton & Hove City Council is committed to supporting community led housing in the city.  This is an exciting time to join the Housing Strategy & Enabling Team as we look to continue to work with the Brighton and Hove Community Land Trust hub to support their programme of work to increase the provision of community led housing schemes across Brighton and Hove.

About the role

Brighton & Hove City Council is committed to supporting community led housing in the city.  This is an exciting time to join the Housing Strategy & Enabling Team as we look to continue to work with the Brighton and Hove Community Land Trust hub to support their programme of work. 

We are looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of housing combined with an interest of community led housing.  They will be a good collaborator and partnership worker and also self reliant and self motivated to help support this programme of work.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.

From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit.
