About the role

The Bilingual Primary School is an innovative, growing school looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to take on the role of supporting the SEND children in our school. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCo, you would be working with children from Reception to Year 6, supporting in class and delivering targeted interventions to small groups or individuals.

The ability to speak Spanish is not a requirement for this role.

We are looking for someone who loves working with children and:

  • Has experience of supporting primary age children with a range of SEND, in a school setting;
  • Works exceptionally well with other people and values team work;
  • Is able to work as directed and uses initiative when needed;
  • Can adapt quickly to change and enjoys a challenge

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short written English task and either be observed in their current setting or undertake a short story activity on interview day.

The governors of our school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.
