About the role

You will work as a Workforce Analytics Adviser within our HR team based in Lewes, delivering services to East Sussex County Council.

Who will you be?

You’ll work as part of a small team that takes the lead on all things data and HR systems related. You’ll be responsible for things like maintaining people structures in our HR information system and analysis and production of data dashboards and management information reports for diverse audiences which are used to help inform real decision-making right across the Council.

Office experience isn't necessary, but you’ll need to be analytical and flexible in your approach to work, have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a team. With your strong ICT skills (particularly Excel) you will be comfortable working with numbers and solving problems using ICT. What makes you stand out is your ability to understand the customer’s needs and present data in an accessible way for all audiences including those who are not data experts.

You will be employed full time (37 hours per week), benefiting from a generous annual leave entitlement, flexi-time and the opportunity to work from home.
