About the role

Westdene is an inclusive and popular primary school situated to the north of the city.  The school is seeking to appoint highly organised individual to the post of Pupil Welfare Officer. 

Qualities required:

* Knowledge and experience with school safeguarding procedures

* Knowledge and understanding of support services available in Brighton

* Experience of working successfully with parents/carers

* A team player and effective communicator

* Highly efficient attitude and ability to manage own workload

* Ability to relate and deal effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels

* Experience of keeping accurate records, including computer based records

* An organised person with good time management skills

* Commitment to continuing professional development

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.
