About the role

The Governors of this welcoming and friendly Catholic school are seeking to appoint an excellent, inspirational teacher to join our team.

We are particularly looking for candidates with an interest or experience in Key Stage 2

The successful candidate will be a practising Catholic or be fully committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of our school.

They will have the following essential skills:

  • A full commitment to child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils;
  • Effective learning and teaching strategies;
  • Excellent classroom management;
  • Commitment to high standards and supporting school improvement;
  • A team player, able to motivate and support others, willing to make a positive contribution to the extracurricular life of the school.
  • The ability to build excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues;
  • A commitment to inclusion of all pupils;

    We would be particularly interested in applicants who have:

  • Recent  and relevant experience in upper KS2
  • Experience of leading a core subject area.
  • Experience of teaching in a Catholic school

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
