About the role

City Academy Whitehawk is proud to offer exciting and inclusive education to children aged 4 to 11 years. Our Early Years provision was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED in November 2018 and in January this year we embarked on a new venture to extend this provision to younger children.

The Nursery Class is part of a fully integrated Foundation Village approach to educating children aged 2 to 4 years.  Initially places are offered to children who are 3 years old to provide them with skills which will enable smooth transitions into Reception.

We are seeking a talented Nursery Assistant to join our staff team in delivering outstanding provision for the setting.

The Nursery Assistant will work under the guidance of the Senior Nursery Practitioner and will provide support to the children and staff within the setting.

We are looking for an experienced and talented member of staff who is committed to providing the very best opportunities for our children.  Successful candidates will be good team members with great communication skills and a clear vision for excellence.

In exchange we can offer a supportive leadership team and a great working environment with the chance to be part of the whole school environment.

Working hours will be 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).
