About the role

The Re-housing Team Assistant role has a crucial part to play in the effective management of empty properties and facilitating the mutual exchange process. The team re-let, on average 600 empty properties and facilitate over 200 mutual exchanges.

You will need to be prepared to work in a busy, pressurised, customer focussed team, working within tight time scales in order to achieve agreed targets. The role requires good team working with the other Team Assistants where communication is key. Daily management of the mailboxes and arranging viewings whereby up to 3 households could be in attendance, plus co-ordinating the attendance of Support Workers, Occupational Therapists or third parties requires excellent organisation skills and the ability to carry out numerous different tasks at the same time. You will need to be committed to providing excellent customer service and be able to deal with frustrated, vulnerable or angry applicants.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.

From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
