Ten out of ten for Tudor House!
A short breaks service run by Brighton & Hove City Council for disabled children aged 8-18 has received its tenth consecutive ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted.
Inspectors said the young people who use Tudor House in Brighton make excellent progress in developing social interaction skills and creative expression. The inspectors added that:
- staff go above and beyond their responsibility to support young people’s education
- the environment is of an exceptionally high quality throughout
- parents reflected extremely positively on how much they trust the staff to care for their individual child’s needs.
Service manager Clare Brunt said: “I’m absolutely thrilled, and I think the whole staff team feels really proud of this achievement.
“The inspectors saw for themselves that our young people all really thrive when they’re here, and they really enjoy the opportunities and experiences we give them.”
