What I like best about going to school!
Going to school is important. And it’s not just about better exam results. You miss out on the fun stuff as well!
Being in school is also about being with friends, doing new things and learning new skills.
As part of our Miss School Miss Out attendance campaign, we’ve made a video of some of our primary school pupils saying what they like best about going to school.
They told us all sorts of things – from seeing friends to sports and maths and art and playing ninjas in the playground.
Every school in Brighton & Hove has staff trained to help families who are struggling with school attendance. Please contact your school for their support in the first instance.
The council's access to education team can also offer help and advice with school attendance. Email attendanceteam@brighton-hove.gov.uk
