The coronavirus has impacted on council business and we are currently reviewing what meetings can take place and how.
A number of committees that were due to go ahead this week and next have been postponed or cancelled.
- Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee due on 17 March – postponed (urgency sub-committee to be held on Tuesday 24 March at 11am at Hove Town Hall, this will be available to watch via webcast)
- Health Overview & Scrutiny Committee due on 18 March – cancelled
- Licensing Panel due on 23 March – postponed (new date to be confirmed)
- Health & Wellbeing Board due on 24 March – postponed (new date to be confirmed)
The Policy & Resources Committee is still planned to go ahead on Thursday 19 March.
The decisions for each committee were made following the latest government advice around social distancing safety and based on whether the content of the committees included decisions that couldn’t be delayed.
