Temporary changes to our City Environment contact centre

Due to a high level of staff sickness, we temporarily need to change the opening hours of the phone lines at our City Environment contact centre. We apologise for any inconvenience. 

From today, the contact centre phone lines will be opening between 10am and 3pm from Monday to Friday.

This is to allow the team to catch-up on responses to emails.

If you do need to report a problem, the best and quickest way to contact us is using the online forms on our rubbish, recycling and streets pages.

If you do prefer to call, please phone us between 10am and 3pm Monday to Friday.

Recycling and rubbish collections

We are also very sorry for the ongoing problems with recycling and rubbish collections.

We are looking at where we need to get additional support and are aiming to catch-up on missed collections and resume normal service as soon as possible.
