About our pest control officers

All of our officers are fully qualified. They have a Level 2 Award in Pest Management from the Royal Society for Public Health.

How much it costs

The fees below are for residential properties. We offer different rates for commercial properties and businesses.

Rats

This treatment costs £87 and includes up to 3 visits. Additional visits cost £31 per visit.

You will need to prepare your property ahead of your appointment.

Mice

This treatment costs £87 and includes up to 3 visits. Additional visits cost £31 per visit.

We also offer humane traps. This service costs £275 and includes daily visits for 10 days (Mondays to Fridays) to empty traps.

You will need to prepare your property ahead of your appointment.

Foxes

Foxes are protected under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. You can get a fine or go to prison if you use illegal control methods.

Our pest control officers can lay fox-repellent in your garden. They can also give advice on how to stop foxes from entering your property. This costs £51 for one visit.

Fleas, carpet moths and other insects

This treatment costs from £82 to £143, depending on the number of bedrooms in the property.

The price includes re-spray if the first treatment is unsuccessful. False widow spiders only require a one-spray visit.

You will need to prepare your property ahead of your appointment.

Cockroaches

This treatment costs from £184 to £316, depending on the number of bedrooms in the property.

The price includes re-spray if the first treatment is unsuccessful.

Wasps

It costs £66 to remove one wasp nest. We do not spray nests until the beginning of July, when the queen is more likely to be in the nest.

If the queen is not in the nest when we spray it, there is a chance that she’ll return and build a new nest close by. This could be in a location that’s harder to reach.

Bees

Our pest control officers will not kill bees due to their value to the environment.

If your pests turn out to be bees, you will still be charged for the visit from our pest control officer.

If you have a bee swarm, or a honey-bee nest, you may want to contact the British Bee Keepers Association.

They can put you in contact with a local beekeeper or swarm collector.

Consultations

Consultations allow us to investigate the problem that you are having, and offer treatment advice and options based on what we see at your property.

Initial consultations cost £51 and include:

  • a visit to your property from a pest control officer
  • investigation of the problem
  • treatment advice

This fee will be taken off the cost of any treatment if you need it. Treatments that require follow-up visits can be arranged later.

Wildlife advice service

Our pest control officer can give advice on prevention and proofing for wildlife, including badgers, gulls, pigeons and squirrels. This service costs £51.
