We have put out 122 extra bins at 44 of our recycling points to help residents dispose of rubbish during the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are two recycling sites - also called tips - one in Hove, off Old Shoreham Road and one in Brighton, off Wilson Road. They take household waste or recycling, electrical items, garden waste and some DIY waste.
Residents can visit our household waste recycling sites by car. If you're in a van or commercial vehicle, you'll need photo ID and proof you live in the city.
WEEE banks are recycling points where you can take small electrical items, such as toasters, kettles and hairdryers.
Find our carton or Tetra Pak recycling points in the city and how to get cartons ready for recycling.
Where to take unwanted clothes, shoes and textiles, and how doing so supports the local community.
Take energy saving bulbs and fluorescent tubes to our Brighton or Hove household waste recycling sites (tips). These sites will also take household batteries.
